Potty Training On-The-Go Must Haves!

We have been working on potty training our toddler, but with our busy lives, it is nearly impossible to always be near a “toddler set-up” bathroom. However, if you have ever been around small children, you know that when they have to go, they HAVE to go now. Below are some things that have drastically helped us and saved us in a pinch more than once!

  1. Portable Potty for Toddler Travel”: This is a foldable potty for toddlers. It stands alone making it easy to set up in the trunk of your car, side of the road, camping, or at the park. It folds up compact and comes with its own carrying pouch. It provides the luxury of a stand-alone real potty seat without taking up all the space in your car. Leave it in your car or throw it in a suitcase to travel farther! This one comes with 30 disposable bags with more available for purchase! I liked this one because it also has a little splash guard on the front helping to ensure everything stays contained, especially for little boys.
  2. Folding Travel Potty Training Seat”: This foldable toilet attachment makes any public restroom a toddler-safe toilet. If your toddler is like mine, they can be terrified of falling in even if someone is holding them. This little insert can sit on almost any toilet seat making the hole small enough to keep a little tush from falling in. I like this one the best because it can fold into a compact rectangle, slip inside of its carrying case, and easily fit inside a diaper bag or purse. This one has little handles allowing your little one to hold on without grabbing the public toilet or other surfaces. A must have for going to restaurants, museums, hotels, and more!
  3. Portable Urinals”: These little portable bottles have specific tops allowing a little boy or a girl to conveniently pee inside a bottle. These are perfect for camping, stand-still traffic, outdoor sporting events, or anytime it is hard for your little one to get to or use the big potty. Since the designs differ, this link offers a boy and a girl version. They also come with a convenient cleaning brush. These have come in handy so many times while being outside with little to no access to a bathroom. They are leak proof and can hold quite a bit of liquid. Great for storing in your car or throwing in a bag for a hike.

I hope some of these products help you on your potty training journey and allow you a little peace of mind with the freedom to take your little ones to see the world! Please share any other travel potty training tips you have found or experiences you’ve had.
